Maritime transport
Sea containers are the ideal method of transportation to transport your goods from one destination to another. HACON Logistics B.V. works with reliable shipping and logistic partners. Therefor we can offer weekly sailings to and from the port of Rotterdam.
Our location offers customers a great advantage. Since we are situated in the Europoort area, between Rotterdam Maasvlakte and Rotterdam Waalhaven we are able to deliver transport for a very competitive price. A short supply route and cheap deliver transport are guaranteed.
We can transport goods from and to any port. For import or export we can provide pre- or post-transport to a designated location. Any customs related formalities will also be handled. All transport will be done by standard chassis or sideloader/crane truck.
For each shipment, a bill of lading is prepared which provide details of all cargo and contact information of the agent in the port of destination.
There are several possibilities to transport a container:
- shipping container, we will hire a container at the shipping company for you
- container sale, container remains the property of the sender / receiver
- groupage (LCL) container, you share a container with others and will be charged for your used space in the container.
When exporting goods the receiver of the bill of lading is responsible for the handling at the port of destination. Through the local agent any local fees such as pilotage and port fees are due. The import process is also the responsibility of the recipient. The FENEX conditions apply on every transport we carry out.
